Giant Guide

Giant

ATK 400 · Power 310 000

Breaking the Rock Shield before it swallows a Legion, clearing Hammer Trolls that heal each other, and closing it out inside 8 minutes.

Before you pull

Earthsunder: enrage at 8 minutes

8m after entering battle, Giant becomes Enraged, casting Groundspike and instantly killing all Legions within its Lair.

The Giant is immune to every debuff and every impairment except Taunt.

Stuns, slows, silences. None of it lands. Bring heroes and artifacts that deal damage or protect your own units, not ones that control the target.

What you must not do

  • Break the Rock Shield: a failed break is 40% of the raid, not one Legion
  • Kill the Trolls together: one at a time heals the rest to full
  • 90 seconds ends the invulnerability anyway: you do not have to clear them
  • Nothing but Taunt sticks to the Giant: pick heroes accordingly

The fight, phase by phase

4 phases
1

Pull & Positioning

  • Tank pulls the Giant and faces it away from the group
  • DPS stay at max range and avoid standing in front
  • Reckless Blow and Wild Swing are forward arcs; Whirlwind of Ferocity hits everything around the Giant
  • Keep distance to reduce cleave damage

Goal: Stable positioning, no early losses

Reckless Blow

Reckless Blow

Giant swings its mighty arms, dealing Physical Skill damage to all enemy Legions in a forward arc (Damage Factor 300).

Wild Swing

Wild Swing

Giant swings its hammer, dealing Physical Skill damage to all enemy Legions in a forward arc (Damage Factor 400).

Whirlwind of Ferocity

Whirlwind of Ferocity

Giant raises its stone hammer and spins, dealing Physical Skill damage to all surrounding enemy Legions (Damage Factor 500).

Feast of Gluttony

The Giant devours the Legion with the most remaining units and gains a Rock Shield. Everyone around gets Terror for 5 seconds.

  • Shield broken in time → the devoured Legion escapes, and the Giant is Stunned
  • Shield survives its duration → the devoured Legion is instantly killed, and every surrounding Legion takes 40% of its maximum Unit Count

That 40% is why this is the raid's real emergency. It isn't one Legion at stake. A shield you fail to break costs the whole group nearly half its units.

Every DPS on the shield the moment it appears. The stun that follows is your best damage window of the phase.

Feast of Gluttony

Feast of Gluttony

Giant devours the Legion with the most units remaining in the Lair, gains a Rock Shield for a period of time, and inflicts Terror on all surrounding Legions for 5s. If the Shield remains unbroken at the end of its duration, the devoured Legion is instantly killed, and all surrounding Legions take Skill damage (40% of the Legion's maximum Unit Count). If the Shield is destroyed in time, the devoured Legion escapes, and Giant is briefly Stunned.

King of the Giants

In the second stage the Giant becomes Invulnerable and summons Hammer Trolls, then casts Mountain Aura to raise their ATK and DEF.

Two ways out, and most raids only know one:

  • Kill every Hammer Troll → invulnerability ends immediately
  • Or survive 90 seconds → invulnerability and Mountain Aura both expire on their own

Brothers of One Mind: killing one Troll heals every other Troll to full.

So do not focus them down one at a time. Bring them all low together, then finish them in the same few seconds. A raid that kills them in sequence hands back every point of damage it just dealt and burns the whole 90 seconds anyway.

Each dead Troll drops a Healing Manastone. Gather it to heal your lightly wounded units.

During the second stage, Giant becomes Invulnerable and summons Hammer Trolls within the Lair. It also casts Mountain Aura, increasing the ATK and DEF of Hammer Trolls within its range. Invulnerability and Mountain Aura last for 90 seconds. Each defeated Hammer Troll drops Healing Manastone; gather it to heal lightly wounded units in your Legion. Giant's invulnerability expires as soon as all Hammer Trolls have been defeated.

When a Hammer Troll is killed, other Hammer Trolls recover to full HP.

Ground Attacks

  • Aftershock: three forward lines, knocks Airborne, 30% of your maximum Unit Count, dodge sideways
  • All-Out Strike: four hammer blows in four directions, 20% of maximum Unit Count per arc, read which way it faces
  • Shockwave: knocks everyone around it Airborne, reposition the moment you land

Burn your artifacts during the stun windows from Phase 2, not here.
