Story

  1. Chapter 1 Trust Level 2

In his youth, Bakshi showed an ability to perceive the incorporeal. He could hear the wailing of the winds, smell the terror of herds of deer, and sense the slightest breath of living beings around him. He had strange dreams, and would cry out in the night, attracting wolves, especially when the moon was full. The elders of his clan deemed him an ill omen, and banished him.

  2. Chapter 2 Trust Level 4

Bakshi seems almost wolf-like in manner and appearance, but he was not born that way: his incongruous claw appears to be the result of a failed metamorphosis. The other shamans believe that Bakshi's power comes from the Wolf-Spirit, but he is only able to summon it for short periods, and cannot bind it to himself. The Codex Shamanicus states: "Such a power is only awakened in the midst of death, and thus is thoroughly uncontrollable."

  3. Chapter 3 Trust Level 6

Since the unification of Wilderburg, Bakshi has held the position of the Grayclaw Clan's Shaman-Counselor, the second to hold the title. A highly warlike clan, the Grayclaws' distrust of Bakshi began to fade as he displayed his control over beasts. However, if shamans' wisdom and serenity can be misread as pacifism, Bakshi lies at the other end of the scale—few are able to look past his fierce exterior and see his deep acceptance and understanding of nature.

  4. Chapter 4 Trust Level 8

The veterans of the Battle of the Hexwood will tell you that when Chieftain Dattara awoke the power of the berserker, Bakshi stood by his side, chanting quietly. Dattara's eyes turned blood-red, his muscles grew vast, and his frame expanded, becoming a terrifying beast and cutting a bloody path through the enemy to allow the routed Orcish army to retreat. From that moment on, Dattara treated the shaman with reverence akin to his own father, and Bakshi's name was spoken with awe across the clans of Wilderburg.
