Born into a family of Dwarven brewmasters in the amber hills of the Copperbrew Clan, Falgrim's hands possessed a natural sensitivity to the subtle art of brewing. His talent for detail and precision made him exceptional at crafting the finest Tonnay Rye Beer in the entire Dwarven Kingdom. However, his passion for this ancient craft would lead him down a dark path that he would never have imagined.
The devastating drought of 1125 brought more than just empty barrels to the Copperbrew Clan and Falgrim's family. To continue producing Tonnay Rye Beer and preserve his family's ancient craft, Falgrim sought loans from the Dwarven mob that he soon became unable to repay. The choice they gave him was simple, but brutal: serve them or watch his family suffer. Under their control, the once-respected brewer was transformed, his head shaved and marked with Dwarven mob runes, his gentle nature replaced by a hardened exterior with each passing mission, until Falgrim became a ruthless enforcer for the Dwarven mob.
Though he missed his past life as a master brewer, Falgrim found a new purpose in the art of violence. During a legendary heist, Falgrim discovered a gas-powered crossbow of exceptional power. With its rapid-fire shooting mechanism, this illegal weapon was capable of piercing even the toughest armor of the elite Dwarven Royal Guards. Falgrim mastered this weapon and christened it "Widowmaker", becoming the Dwarven criminal underworld's most feared hitman.
Falgrim never believed he could change his lifestyle—until he met the tavern keeper Brenna. With a spark of his old life re-awakened, Falgrim faked his death, grew out his hair and hid the infamous crossbow beneath their tavern to live an honest and joyous life with her. But their quiet life turned into nightmare when the mob knocked at their door demanding a "protection" fee. When Brenna refused to pay, they destroyed everything Falgrim held dear. Now, with Brenna gone and his deadly crossbow reclaimed, Falgrim has emerged from hiding not as the mob's weapon, but as their reckoning.
