Story

  1. Chapter 1 Trust Level 2

The more military accolades he won during the Battle of the Hexwood, the more Hosk looked forward to the day the war would end. Indeed, this Tavrosi was quite different from the Grayclaw Clan comrades he fought alongside, who had rejected the signing of the Treaty of Saethmont. After witnessing the recruits he trained come into their own, each with their own heavy responsibilities, Hosk was finally able to remove his armor in relief, take his medals, and enjoy the sunshine of the Coldiron Plateau like any other old man.

  2. Chapter 2 Trust Level 4

The residents of Grayhill had no idea who the Tavrosi who called himself "Horne" was. All they knew were the whisperings that he was a veteran of war. The Tavrosi hold veterans in high esteem, and this "Horne" always seemed approachable and friendly, unlike the other gruff old Tavrosi in the town. Thus, although he had only been in this frontier town for a few years, he was already well-liked by the locals.

  3. Chapter 3 Trust Level 6

Hosk possessed a great interest in a new game called "Wilderchess" that had grown in popularity. At first, he merely watched watched curiously from the sidelines. When each game had concluded, he would give one or two pointers on battle formations and offensive tactics. As time progressed, the number of people who approached this Tavrosi "counselor" increased to the point that Wilderchess became more of a game of testing Hosk's strategies against each other.

  4. Chapter 4 Trust Level 8

After the Night of Burning Stars, Hosk assembled youths and men of age in Grayhill, and formed a local defense garrison. Together, they managed to defeat wave after wave of Darkling attacks. Those in the know recognized that the spear-wielding Tavrosi named "Horne" was the very same Tavrosi who had once served under the Overseer in battle—the legendary General Hosk. The second chapter of this white-maned veteran's legend had only just begun...
