Story
- Chapter 1 Trust Level 2
To Indis, Yaen was once someone else—her father Myrsach's closest friend and confidant. But Yaen, controlled by darkness, had fallen into the abyss, and had pulled Myrsach along with him, despite Myrsach's efforts to save his best friend. Myrsach fought against Yaen's corruption with all his strength, and gave everything to protect the young Indis, leaving her in the protection of the other Druids.

Having survived Yaen's atrocities as a child, Indis joined the fight against Yaen when she came of age, and came face to face with him in battle. But Yaen cruelly presented her with a figure tortured beyond recognition—Myrsach, the father she once knew. Right before her eyes, Indis's father brought an end to his own suffering, choosing eternal peace. The sight of his dying face made clear to Indis the pain that the Elves had suffered as a result of Yaen's corruption. At that moment, Indis's desire to restore Yaen's conscience became her most determined conviction. Lifting a weapon that symbolized order and protection, she pointed it at Yaen.

After waking inside Pren Hynafol, the Ancient Tree, the Queen requested to see Indis. To the Queen, Indis was the spitting image of the young Elf she had trusted in the years before her slumber—Myrsach. The Queen trusted Indis with an arduous mission: to find the path to peace between the factions and races of Tamaris. In the 300 years that followed, Indis devoted herself to strengthening the bonds between Elves and other races in the realm. Respected among the Springwardens, and indeed all of Tamaris, Indis ultimately carried on her father's legacy, serving as the new Sage of Order for the Druidic Communion.

To this day, Indis can remember the look in her dying father's eyes—and she remains firm in her belief that there might yet be redemption for Yaen's Remnants. To her, such evil is merely superficial. It is the imbalance that exists in men's hearts that is her true enemy. Though Indis has often been accused of weakness by Emrys, leader of the Watchers, she continues to walk her own path.
