Story

  1. Chapter 1 Trust Level 2

Though many think that Tarra's happy smile and kind-hearted demeanor are signs that she has led an easy life, nothing could be further from the truth. She grew up with a cruel stepfather, powerless to save her mother from his rages; the experience shaped her into a person with a strong sense of right and wrong and a desire to protect others. And yet, she realized that principles alone were not enough to shield the ones she loved from harm. Thus, the young Tarra put her own life in danger in a desperate attempt to put a stop to her mother's suffering. In the end, her mother saved her life, but was imprisoned as a result of her actions. With her mother in jail, Tarra was sent to live at Forerunners' Abbey under the care of the vestals.

  2. Chapter 2 Trust Level 4

Traumatized and guilt-ridden, Tarra struggled to adapt to life at the abbey. But under the guidance of Sister Gilda, she learned the art of divine magic, and how to find peace through acts of charity. After completing her training as a novice, she helped some of the land's poorest villages to recover from the devastation of the Battle of the Hexwood. During her efforts, she learned of a criminal organization that ruled over the common people with an iron fist, trafficking them through the Goblin Market and reaping huge profits. Despite being brushed off by the Royal Court, Tarra swore that she would break their stranglehold over the peasantry and bring them to justice.

  3. Chapter 3 Trust Level 6

Tarra traveled to Dawngrad to continue her studies into healing magic at the Abbey of the Holy Light. As her powers grew, her reputation as an expert healer spread, reaching even the ears of Dawngrad's loftiest nobles. While out on a mission, Tarra discovered that Sigismund Sorland—a well-respected minor noble from House Sorland—was the leader of the Crimson Hand. For her efforts to break up this criminal organization and bring them to justice, Tarra was awarded the title of Exarch by High Priestess Alia.

  4. Chapter 4 Trust Level 8

The Night of Burning Stars and the appearance of the Darklings put even greater strain on Human society. Tarra has a deep understanding of the hardships of the common people in the face of evil and chaos. Her desire to protect the weak burns as fiercely as ever, and she has set out once more to protect them from the devastation wrought by darkness and war.
